Thanks, apparently it is a great athlete; he and his pals manage to chew up our phone line and take out my broadband at least once a year...and still, I luv'em...

what a fascinating picture you conjure up M L - we have no squirrels here on our little island, they are considered to be vermin. I'm not sure which one would win if they were to meet:-) hugs Jan xx

I believe they are classed as vermin everywhere. They managed to move into my pear trees a few years back and so, I have to get up early to beat them to my delicious sugar pears. Still, they get most of them because they can eat them before they're ripe and I can't...way too hard. Glad you stopped by.

Not my cat; she's 13 years old and although she's spry; I don't want her tangling with them...and she'll try her best to get'em if she get's out there. Thanks for reading and commenting.

My sister'c cat was so proud of the bloody chipmunks he brought in. Do you know the poem by J.R.R. Tolkien about cats? In it the house cat remembers his days as a lion!! Yours Matthew Anish

Hee, it's more like I need the alarm; have had the squirrels tossing pears at my head when I get near my own trees. Still, those sugar-pears are really worth the fight. Thanks.
