below a lake
behind a cloud
within a song

I’m late
pause...
have another beer
claiming truth in
fables and tales
not that its wrong
or matters to
anyone
pause...
have another ale
sobriety
fractures
into a million
aspects of
Delta ray
staggering...
memorizing labels
and bizarre
looking bar chairs
I pause…
hit the floor
then stand up again
have another beer
