Pause

Time
Please stop
World has moved
Way too fast

Can't breathe
Blinded by distraction
Can't focus
Tangled by insanity

Knowing
Each of us
In our own pace

Yet being dragged behind
Drowned deep in doubts and fears
All over again

Trying to keep afloat
Struggling to open my eyes
Where I am going

Smokescreen
Fogging my consciousness
Half accepting my death
Half crying to live

Unknown force
Pushing my body out
Safely on land

Coughing
Grasping for air
Light on my eyes

It is not my time yet
Have to keep moving
Slowly progressing

All I know
Looking ahead
A step closer
When fears fear me
When doubts bow to me
When I can cry and smile
As hard as I want

Fulfillment complete
