Paula Darling-

I thought it was forever
I offered you a heart so pure
I bequeathed to you my soul

and our love is no more.
there was only nothingness
you never believed
but our love was just a broken dream

Darling
It was supposed to be true love
you and I, for always, yet you left me
was there no promise?
True love, I really believed now is gone love
You’ve left me

But our passion was just a fever dream
Hot and heart through time meant only a moment
there was only darkness
and now we are now just two lonely hearts, parted
I thought it was forever
I offered you a heart so pure
I bequeathed to you my soul
But now you’ve left me and we’re together no more

just a heartbreaking verse
