Patience wearing thin

Patience wearing thin
Pushed to the absolute limit
A mental endurance turns physical
The world is out to finish me off
Frustration is at the absolute limit
Broken promises
Red hot searing anger developing inside
One word could flip the tipping point
An action that could have devastating consequence
The world outside knows nothing
The pain within stabs every limb
Eyes heavy ready to explode
Incompetence leads to lies
The only effect is to crush the last pieces of my soul
Time has gone up in flames
Other commitments make me look unreliable
While watching and waiting
For something that was never coming
I wait, chase up and they lie
Every fragment of my being is raging
I do everything right to get stood on
Time after time
If I could burn their lies to the ground
Force truthfulness and honesty
My own chest would not be crushing
The weight of the world would not be crippling
And everyone’s life would be so much simpler
