Patience Makes Perfect

This morning I woke up with you on my mind
I turned on the light but you I could not find
Under my afghan? I searched for you there
Alas, not to find you so I checked my chair
I saw a note scribbled, "Dear A-----," it said
"I sent this note to you last night from my bed
I knew you would search but right now we're not free
Have patience though sweetheart, one day we might be"

Cadence (4/4 time, 80bpm):
