Patience and Peace

Patience and peace are friends
Don't say, "I hope it ends!"
They go hand in hand
God wants it for all the land.
It is like fruit to enjoy,
A state of mind not to annoy.
Just keep it; ask for the holy gift.
It just comes like time to sift,
A selfless life given to service,
Willingness to wait; love's kiss!
Giving fruit and trusting in God,
The tree waits from seed to pod
Naturally, patiently producing in life,
Persevering in peace never, strife!
