Patience
Many times we
set our priorities
right,
but fail because of
not waiting for
Nature to take its
course
We look at the stars
for answers
which can only be
answered by
our present actions
and different reactions
through time
We look for quick
solutions to problems
with our own understanding,
yet it is a slow-boat-to-China
paced meditation
that gives us a vision
of what to do
correctly and effortlessly
……….And by meditation,
we realize that everything
in the Universe is
connected by the web
of Patience
To blossom to a rose,
a bud will have to
wait for days
To soar in the skies
once again,
an eagle will have to
persevere the pain of
plucking out its old
feathers in the glaring Sun,
and also break its old
beak against the still,
silent rocks,
then later wait for
its rebirth as the King
of the skies
with new wings and
a new, powerful beak
To become a beautiful,
radiant butterfly,
a caterpillar will have
to turn into a pupa
If we want to
enjoy a clear, night
sky of constellations
and a happy moon,
we’ll have to wait
for daytime to end
To become better people,
we’ll have to pass
through the seas
of mediocrity and challenges
in order to understand
our selves more,
and fulfill our role as spiritual beings
I know it is hard to wait,
but the fruits of Patience
are worth it
