Path of Thoughts

I reached out my window and opened my hand..
Then caught a raindrop that could not land..
I held it tight till it soaked in my palm..
Then it faded away as the mood turned calm..
Through the crack in the door the light spilled in..
It highlighted the path where my thoughts once been..
