Notes About The Poem

Path of a Child

Children are a blessing sent from God above,
more than than a dove they are sent to love.

There will be times of laughter and tears,
these times will be the best of your years.

You will teach your child right from wrong,
and this will leave in their heart a special song.

The path a child takes in this life is unknown,
but that song in their heart will lead them home.

When your child grows up and leaves the nest,
you must trust in God and he will do the rest.

This poem pretty much says it all. Children are truely a blessing and they do bring laughter and tears. I wouldn't have it any other way. Good job in expressing these thoughts.
