Past the Memories

Past the memories
past all the time I wasted
Was time wasted
Almost every second of the day
had to keep my mind under control
wandering from scenario to scenario
My thinking too much is what's been messing me up
It's also the cause of the end
the end...the end...I keep seeing
lurking in the shadows
grabbing ahold of my feet
and pulling me down from my failed flight
knocking down my height and sent me falling faster
An anthem for my misery I received
only yesterday, just yesterday
yet there is no end
Finally happiness can come my way
Optimistic is something I'm not
Pessimistic seems to be my home
feeling like a walking black hole
There's something keeping me under control
or so I'm thinking
Oh No
There it goes
My mind plays another trick on me
putting into play a scene off a famous DVD
of me holding once more...
holding once more...
holding once more...
holding once more...
