Past Present Future
I'm not afraid of dying
It's an inevitable part of life's cycle
The terrifying part to me
Is leaving my daughters behind
To defend themselves in this hate struck world
I try to do my part while I'm still here
By teaching them compassion of the heart
To love each and every soul they meet
Despite religion, political stance, gender or race
We all have trials in this life that each of is must face
And unless we walk in shoes of strangers
We must teach more love, less hate
We all have goodness in us
We all also have bad
It's only the good which is worth living for
Which is why we must be sure to pass it on
Take only from this earth
What is nessasarily needed
What you take be sure to give back
Whether by planting a tree or
Growing a garden
So that there will be enough for future generations
It is a nessesaty for human kinds survival
With each generation that came before us
They all had hopes and dreams
To live in a prosperous world
With plenty of love to go along
We must continue to build onto their dreams
So they do not go in vain
Start by teaching our own children
So we can break this hatred chain
