Past, Prersent, Future

"If I asked you to reflect,
What would it be, do you expect

About the present or the past,
Or the question “why”, you’d ask

Would it be about change,
Or things to be rearranged

Perhaps an event long ago,
Or dreams of winning Lotto

Would it always be about you,
Or would you consider others too

Family, friends or community,
To include in possibilities

So when does a reflection become a goal?,
Only when it’s embraced by our soul?

Or is it the reaction, to change a behavior,
As if a wager

Betting it will improve,
On that which you choose

To desire or become,
Thoughts I have begun

To will the future and what I see,
Including changes in me"
