puzzles puzzles
they write in rhyme 
encrypted messages
poisoned in hate
guesses in the dark
surmising
unable to say the truth
denying
hiding
play nice
yet still
there is the knife
Friendship taken for more
what awful gore
innuendos galore

the truth is out
read the encryptions
read the lines
following suit
following suit
this message
will self destruct

Quite the enigmatic write, Eileen, but it rings true and is powerful...that's how some like to work -because of their confusion and strong urge to judge, they inflict pain, either directly or indirectly. It takes a really brave, intelligent and loving person to catch such vermin in their acts and call them out for it. "unable to say the truth"..so true! People need to GROW UP! Always, Laura

Unfortunately as much as it may feel like a private space it really isn't. It is sad when people choose not to respect others. Some thrive on the hurt emotions they create.

A very powerful pen Eileen - we've both experienced bullying on the site - I am strong now and rise above it but at one time I nearly left the site - I wish soup could go back to happier times but sadly the negative vibes and bullying is continuing - no wonder soup is so lack luster at the moment:-( hugs jan xx

Jan....can't get back in. There are HATEFUL people here. You write a poem and blog about your hubby, no one comments...or at least not the people who have already formulated negative opinions about you. You write about a friend, gossip hits the ceiling. Seriously???? SERIOUSLLY??? It's starting to get me very upset, and I'm not about to take this. You'd think past experiences will teach people to leave well enough alone. No one is immune to formulating opinions about people here on the site. I know I've done my surmising, but then to go and mouth off opinions...gets me very angry. Thanks for the post. I was about to comment on someone's poem, but I stopped myself. This is a case of...."IF the shoe fits, wear it" and walk out of my private space. Hugs, Jan. love ya.
