Passions 1 - 4

Passion 1 - Skeletons

I thought we had emptied the closet
Of our skeletons
Yet now we squabble over
The remaining bones of contention

Passion 2 - Degrees

Why was it
The heat of your passion
In temper
Was many degrees higher
Than the heat of your passion
In bed?

Passion 3 - Chill

We kept each other warm
Through those frosty silences
By rubbing each other
Up the wrong way.

Passion 4 - Cold

A kiss on the cheek:
An occasional peek

An empty ‘goodnight’
Then turn off the light
