Passion

Backwards taste of ripping cloudless skies
Grasping what one empty world cant give
Piecing apart the broken wings of grace
Separating what two can be as one
Eyes wide shut escaping- clenching tight
Wanting things beyond such senseless acts
One heartbeat breathing in the empty air
Holding fast- exhaling you relax
Fingertips of mercy, hands of grace
Kneeling near you feel the coldness fade
Together putting pieces back together
Whispers float as sweetened love you gave
Heavy eyelids opening windows wide
Feeling sweeping wind grace by your cheek
Sewing shut the salty breaks in life
Touching endless clouds you now do keep
Looking back- escaping all my flaws
Reaching out revealing all you are
Founded in the one true love of loss
Shining deep within you bare by scars
