Passage Green
PASSAGE GREEN
My speech, the unspoken word,
Perhaps unseen,
Yet inside resides
And in silence I resigned
Like frothing waves to a man blind.
Under blue azure sky,
Open cloudless semi-sphere,
Over umber, shale and granite.
Not leaving obstinate obsidian
to squelch below foot.
Through passage green they wandered
As though aimless,
Save Creation..
Suddenly they appeared.
The knives
complete with cries.
The bells
ringing times and tolls.
Cubes and rounds,
Palms and tarot,
Episodes in emerald and amber.
Affecting,
Addicting,
(I remembered the pain)
So I surrendered
And succumbed.
