Pass Through
Sometimes
I just sit
Without say
An listen
To that
At bay
As if my bodies a cullender
As life
Passes through
I feel
Nothing
Not love
Nor hate
No haste
No stews
My breath
It shallows
As life
Passes through
To do
What it does
Sometimes, rarely
To my behest
But mostly not
As that’s not what
I’m here to do
As life
Passes through
To Witness
What people do
What people don’t
The slow decline
As life
Passes through
In these moments
It’s all
So clear
As the end
It nears
And I
Pass through
