You’re my friend and partner in crime….
I want you all the time
to dine on your cooking sublime
being with you makes my gong chime

Awesome Robb.. good luck in Chris's contest... perfect off the charts syllable count... mine is too.. I did the Japanese version of 31 syllable with "Steamy"...luv...

A lovely tanka, Robb, and I wish you the best in Chris's new contest. I think I'll be taking a break for a while, but I wanted to thank you for your kind comment. Some folks here seem to intentionally hurt others. I just don't understand them. A few like Sara, Wilma and Carolyn have been very supportive and encouraging, but I don't want to feel the pain I had today when I learned people were unhappy with my poem winning.
