Parting the Sea
We fall down like rain drops,
when things get too hot,
we dry up like wrinkled leaves,
when a little becomes a lot.
We come down like snowflakes,
when we try to please,
we break apart like glass,
when we bleed we freeze.
We blow like wind between the trees,
when we soak we rust,
water turns to wine,
passion turns to dust.
When we bleed we freeze,
when we flow we flood.
