Part Time Poet

                     Me a Part Time Poet
                     in world of gems of poems,
                        sinking in vortex
                        of strong tidal emotion
                         on self-realization.
                         
                      Let my dormant dream
                       to roll, ring and harmonize,   
                              verse to float freely.
                       imagery to soar high
                    releasing self, flying in sky.
            
                           Trying poetry 
                     in idle part time leisure
                      with asymmetry
                     or over smooth symmetry
                     and in rhythmic rhyme to chime.       
                     
                           Need time to relax
                     from job and mundane schedule.
                             Best to unleash stress
                        on off-time activity
                        in composing poetry.

                          Relishing in full
                         dedication to poems                      
                           as part time poet
                         carrying simultaneous
                           creation-recreation.
