A wonderful haiku Alkas, and yet so true. In USA history Andrew Jackson was said to have had a parrot. Jackson is know for all kinds of craziness in the White House. Parties; lots of drinking with old friends, and even shooting off guns inside. Ah when the US was great, but anyway, a reflection on your poem Alkas, is that the parrot was at Jackson's funeral, but had to be removed because all the profanity it was repeating. So funny!!! So your poem speaks the truth. Thank you so much aljas!!!
