Parking Lot Morons

Encountered some drivers In a mall parking lot Absolutely blew my li'l ole mind Rude and obnoxious Only way to describe 'em What's with this self absorbed kind Seems so damn important To always be first Are there no more “courteous” drivers Are they gone with hoop skirts And Saddle Shoes Happy to say I'm a survivor It's much like a war zone As they race for a space What's happened, where's chivalry gone People on crutches Men stooped over Fair game for this bunch of morons I'll get off my soapbox Attempt to mellow out What I saw was beyond comprehension If I used foul language I'd be just like them Must be living in different dimension © Jack Ellison 2013

I've met quite a few like this! Pain in my butt! This is why I park AWAY from the entrances to a mall or store. I can get a good walk while listening to the angry sheep spend time arguing over an inanimate object.

Talking about RUDE and OBNOXIOUS! I took a day to work on my art work for my first book 'Kitty Claus'. Unfortunately, tremors made me go to the computer for the front cover. I was a disaster! Never knew what I was doing, and couldn't do anything twice... Hubby had to bail me out a dozen times. He did all the work. He'll be my illustrator, and book developer. Unfortunately, Dragon got in a snit! He wants to be the first book. I told him I need to start small... He declared he's going on a diet!

I know what you mean, people are crazy when it come to those darn parking spots...they will do anything to get it before you get it yourself, so rude they are, and they are everywhere these incredibly rude drivers! I know what you mean by not wanting to be like them, to be kind in the midst of idiots like these drivers! Your poem is surely tremendous, a fantastic piece that I have read this morning! What a brilliant verse! Great Work!!
