Parents

Nobody is great at birth
You know not of their worth

Who they will be
You just have to wait and see

Heros are raised not born
They have no character to be worn

We were all babies before
But it is our later days when we score

Raised by good parents
We are grown and shaped

We become more aware
And notice the wind in our hair

The heat of the fire
The worth of a wire

We are molded to a greater being
Our whole life worth seeing

We are individuals with a path
To strive for what we were raised to go for
We discover new things and open new doors
But of all this who do we have to thank for?

Everything we are
And everything we have earned
Our every life lessons learned?

Is due to our parents
We must thank them
