Parable 11: Just Leave Me Alone
A man with children is tucked up for the night
when a friend calls round in need of a bite.
“Just leave me alone!”
He cried with groan
in a manner that was hardly polite.
His friend persisted by knocking once more
till the man came down and answered the door.
“Though I'm not in the mood
here's some of my food,”
for his persistence he could not ignore.
