Paper Hearts

I wrote to you a greeting card,
and on it, I drew my lonely heart.
You tore it, threw the pieces in air,
they got scattered here and there.
When I picked few of them,
I found my paper heart in two.
I tried to put together my paper
heart, but it was too much torn apart.
I will save it, maybe someday you
might come looking for it.
Paper hearts are special, as they
hold the emotion of love.
