Paper Doll
Small girl, got your ticket to soon. Holy water, 'cause your about to be ruined. You're dressed up real preety. Brush your hair over and over. Stand you in all the right places. Words like honey, preety girl, come beautiful. Smile. With no regard to you at all. They treat you like a paper doll. You dream horrors that never end and you pretend. You try not to cry in front of him. Oh, the bridge isn't safe but you better hurry. Be careful or you won't find anyone left. And you have so far to fall. And you know down in the dirty waters, no place for a paper doll. Loving gentle shoulder, oh sweet sugar safe. Will you please tell me... I'm no paper doll at all. You know. Just in case.
