Pandemic

Pandemic
You only miss the shops
When they start to close,
Whether its mcdonalds
KFC or even nando's.
Your only freedom is
1 hour excersice a day,
Now it feels like your
Freedom has been taken away.
The sun outside...
Is starting to shine,
Making you sit in the garden
With a bottle of wine.
Questioning your life
Family and friends,
Just sat here waiting
For all this to end.
Your children playing
And having plenty fun,
When in fact they miss
That fun school run.
They miss their friends
And teachers too,
The hot school meals
And fun things to do.
Its not just work
Its friends teachers and routine,
Hopefully its not long
Until they are heard and seen.
