Pancake

The circle widens slower and comes to a stop. Bubbles form on the surface - and then go pop. If it looks like it's shiny and it's still wet, it probably isn't quite ready yet. I think watching it is really a trip - watching and waiting for the right time to flip.

Bake me a pancake as quick as you can, before it sticks to the frying pan, then flip it as high as you can and hope it lands back in the pan… Beryl

OK, I just hope I don't miss, and it rolls, and meets up with some delinquent donut holes. If he does, I'll put him back in the pan, where he belongs which is where he began. Then I can serve him to Beryl, with syrup and other pancake apparel.
