Eve , a moving statement, indeed. I did not choose this poem to be the thousandth! I wasn't sure how close I was. And it is providence that chose it. The idea that my Mother might have made a choice to end my life is a moving one. I think of the 54 million taken from us since Roe. Possible scientists, writers... It's a choice that has consequences. Glad you are here too and all other humans on the planet. A salute to mothers who give birth. Panagiota
