Pajamas

Chubby little penguins,
Some with hats, some with out,
Sparkling, dainty snowflakes,
Dancing all about.

Welcomed winter charmers,
Brought great delight.
Added warmth and comfort,
To long and chilly nights.

But now that Spring is here,
It's time for them to go,
To hibernate until next year,
With other winter clothes.

I am wearing my snowmen pajamas as I type this; I love flannel, and these are my painting pajamas. I imagine when it gets warmer I will cut off the legs like I did to my penguin pajamas last year. This poem made me smile. Silly is often the best!
