Painting the Bay Iii
We walked into a room at the end of the hall,
greeted by colorful paintings displayed on the walls.
He turned and said, "darling this is my gift for you",
stopping at an empty space, white walls painted new.
Above hung a sign, my name in gold, made my day,
below it read, famous artist, painter of the bay.
