Painted Perfection

As a child I saw the world a painted perfection with rainbows, flowers and butterflies seeing only bright colors and living in sunshine When the adult grew into those eyes I saw no perfection only that which painted the world gray leaving the child inside to die in the night

You convey well the impact of losing a child's innocent perpective on life. Too bad we can't all grow up and still see "painted perfection" in God's handiwork. Very nice, Tiffanie! Love, Carolyn
