The magic of a paint brush.
You glide all over the softly whitened canvass,
Doing whatever the hand directs.
A small dabbing touch here,
Dark eyes filled with fear,
Contriving the special effects.
You turn flat, bland and boring into real full of life,
Effortlessly swirling in the glow.
Making the surface exciting,
Bright, lively and enticing,
Just like that mysterious Calypso.
You’re cryptic and enigmatic, creating symbolic and enchanting
Illusional scenes of surreal.
And the women you create,
Divine, beautiful and great,
Each having amazing sex appeal.
You come in round styles, flat, dagger and stencil,
Bamboo, mop, comb with filbert fiber.
Others come and go,
But you’re always on show,
You’re a paint brush, a millennial survivor.
