Notes About The Poem

Paint Box

Amy batted her long lashes, her bright ruby lips pursed. Make up was smeared over her cute visage Daddy found her with the ‘paint box.’ Oh no Amy! daddy exclaimed, mummy will be so cross. Tiny tears formed and her ruby red lips wobbled. Amy didn’t think that using mummy’s make up for her own face wasn’t allowed, but then again Amy is aged just two! 12~10~16

This is so sweet Jan. I can totally relate to this with my four-year-old granddaughter who says she wants to be just like me. When she watches me put on makeup she has to have a little powder and lipstick too. I love this! 7 ; )
