Pained By You

My heart hardening, and the pace skipping beats,
From the poisonous words that shatters my world that
are coming from your sweet, soft, beautiful lips.

The words are piercing through my body, stinging my eyes
from the emotional and mental pain you are giving me.

I turn and run to a place of where only I know of, hoping to
escape the pressure of drowning in suffering memories.

Your words rip my life apart.
You are no longer saying these painful words out of anger,
You are now saying them because you want to see me
emotionally crash and become an android of depression and distress.

Life is not easy when you do this to me.
What would you do if it wasn't me?
What if it was you?
