Pain Liquefied

As a molten drop of wax,
    running down,
        from a dying candle,
            a single drop of tear,
               left her eye’s boundary,
                   making its way down,
                      falling down without a sound,
                          and crashed!

The denouement of a sad life!

           Like pulverized shards of glass,
              it tore into the flesh,
                 causing deep haemorrhage,
                    somewhere inside the brain!

Tears crashed and shattered, causing deep haemorrhage somewhere inside the brain, this poem for me brings to mind how many from Afghsnistan and from the Ukraine, have felt this, a drastic situation, cruel actions seared into their minds forever. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer. So well penned, well done Valsa.

Ooh! Light are the flutes... Crash go the cymbals; boom go the drums. Impressively penned, Valsa! Cheers, gw

Deeply moving poem skillfully performed, Valsa. The shattered glass truly was an original method for them to convey the agony that they felt on the inside.  Blessings and best regards

A worthy entry Valsa. The pain is certainly shown here in your verses. The shards of glass really was a unique way to express their internal pain. Blessings your way...
