Pain
If I could have one wish come true,
good health I'd choose for me and you.
Wealth is something you can gain
but I'd give it all
to be free of pain.
It's true that wealth can buy a lot
but a cure the doctors have not got.
Being in pain everyday,
I'd give anything for it to go away.
My pills give me a small release
but ultimately they're just a tease.
Please time, heal me fast,
make me well
and make it last.
