The kingdom of the unknown
I see it clearly

Tears for suffering
Crying for the lost blood 

The pain
Lightning as flashes

I'm falling deep
My soul becomes stretched

Burning pain
The shades of blue

I'm sorry
I will never show you my scars

We "never show our scars" we pen them into words, a puff of relief, a sigh of healing.. we elevate them into beauty.. a beautiful piece of art though dipped into pain! Be blessed always dear Anne-Lise.

Scars are the road map that defines us. They help to make us who we are. Although difficult, I believe they should be shared, if only with those who are closest to us, and we should not be ashamed of them. A very meaningful write Anne-Lise.

pressure to the brain....inspiration that is unattained....failure at a goal....damnation of the Soul....there are so many things that hurt....but with True Love, no pain can really work....wonderful write anne….as always....;)

Hello Dear Anne-Lise, A very riveting and heartfelt write here!! For me, each of your sequential couplets bring numerous images to my mind. Given the historic and present-day cruelty in our world today, many images abound worldwide of people (adults and children) who have had tremendous pain inflicted on them and other intolerable actions committed against them both in spirit and in body.
