cruising down Figueroa Street at two in the morning on a Saturday can mirror the Garden of Eden strawberries instead of apples some dipped in chocolate hanging from forbidden corners images of fame slither and hiss then disappear like steam through your fingers returning only if you're still willing trying to grow old can be harder than picking up a Chevy though some swear by the white lines to give them the strength they need off in the distance stars shine and glitter from lofty hills, from sacred pavement
