Are you off to see the wizard, do you mind if I
tag along
We can all do a jig on the way there and belt out a silly song
I need to meet the wizard, I insist on joining your group
His assistance in writing a winning poem, I need it for poetry soup
I have tried my very finest but words I cannot seem to rhyme
With help from the wizard of oz, I may have some luck this time
I already have an active brain, it is not what I seek
Time is slipping quickly by, the contest ends in a week
My home is where my heart is, I do not seek that too
Have no fear about my courage, I have enough for two
Its writers block that affects me, I cannot seem to begin
Are we off to see the wizard, I desperately need to see him
