Owl's Hoot In the Wind

An owl’s hoot was heard in the wind today
My ears perked up and my blood ran cold
Sounded close but may have been far away
An owl’s spiritual quest never grows old

For me, there's something soothing in hearing an owl hoot, but if I was alone in a forest on a dark night, I might feel differently!

It is an amazing sound the first time you year it. My friend has a barn owl and she is thrilled. She has never had one before. She does have a barn.
