Owl Chills

Skin pulls through,
.....w h o

She goes over like a tide
The branches shadow dark tonight

Ebb and flow, too many leaves
My heart still balances while cracking

God, the moon
God, so soon

A dialtone in what called back to me
Their lover-to-lover echoing —

No flight
As her talons took out tonight

Skin pulled through,
......w h o

Dear Paige, I love Owls, it's haunting and beautiful at the same time. The lines about the heart cracking while balancing and the "dialtone in what called back" are so raw and honest. Mysterious! Blessing, Paige, Daniel

dilating wisdom from Soul of an Owl.This is a fav for me, PH ! She’s one of your totems & I’m delighted that her talons took out tonight. Never too soon is God, my dear. As long as Heart knows how to balance, it’s ok that leaves ebb & flow. Happy to have read this today. Took me back to when I lived opposite a tawny owl on a farm. Hav a happy day.xx.

intriguing poem, but for the life of me I can't figure out 'who.' Nicely done in form and delivery.
