Our airport detour,
Clara's gone away
On a study tour.
A pre-flight dinner
With our family,
Vouch for a winner
A message lovely.
And just so quickly
You both through check-in,
Hearts can feel empty
Feelings come between.
Just the two of you:
Michael and Clara,
Melbourne to cue
With fond agendas.
Dreams come true you see
When the moment syncs,
Overseas study
When good fortune links.
Two years of reading
To gain a stature;
This course of learning
Aligns a treasure.
May your feisty ways
Bring evermore joy;
May the fond light rays
Bless work you enjoy.
February Thursday
We wait at the gate,
Michael styles this way
Home comfort awaits.
Love holds a true feast
In our loving hearts,
Zesty thoughts and peace
Begin to craft art.
Home is where heart sings
In sure belonging,
Here happiness springs
Brilliant welcoming.
