Overcomer
I'm an overcomer
I'm rare like having a hot winter and a colder summer
The weight of the world wasn't enough to put my shoulders under
I'll overcome anything in my way because I'm an overcomer
I've won battles that I probably shouldn't have won
I did what I thought I couldn't have done
I've had days full of sadness and nights full of anger
Seen so much crazy stuff I'm even at peace when my life is in danger
You have to learn from your past mistakes in order to achieve your future dreams
People are quiet in person, then type with a keyboard because they know they can't bleed through computer screens
Making the best out of a bad situation is my favourite favourite tactic
That's why I'm eating with the same knife they stabbed me in the back with
This life won't end up breaking the soul of me
I fight back like I'm Mike Tyson when depression tries taking control of me
I've made some mistakes so I know that my karma will sting
I just hope that before I fly I learn how to armour my wings
The weight of the world wasn't enough to put my shoulders under
I don't fear any obstacle because I'm an overcomer
I'm at peace with a lot of things so I no longer have many nights of worry
Because I'll always get back up when it's least expected like I'm Tyson Fury
