Over the Horizon

Over the Horizon

Tailing behind, waves
 undulate in rhythm
with plunging of oars,
  spraying clouds of
 mist in mischief.

 On murky shallow
 shores, beaming
buds candescent
in pink, sway merrily,
 illumining valleys
eclipsed by grief.
