Over Flow

Do you know
what it feels like
when you say
you love me
but you love them
more,
despite them
never being there
and hurting you.
You are blunt with me
acting like you just
hugged me,
instead of the blow to my heart.
I am tired of
putting up with you
waiting for this
to pass.
It's not the first time you've done this
but thats the old me you say
as you laugh it off,
but there is no grin
on my face.
I still wait for the
real you
but I am getting restless
I am a glass of water
and you keep
pouring more water.
Someday,
I am going yo over flow.
Then you can go back
to all your
little friends
who don't really care and ditch you
but you don't really care about me
so it seems.
An overflow is coming,
get ready for the fight
that I have prepared for.

very nice build-up to a boiling point. kill him with kindness and go for a brisk walk. he isn't worth you. - Alan
