set on lily pad

rapid long tongue snaps

Vivid narrative--in 3 lines no less. Title and haiku perfectly coordinated, as well. Kudos, Eve! :) Gershon

I like how you did not mention it was a frog. We had to guess from the context. I wish I had not entitled my last one. That rule on just using Haiku as a title just flew right past me.

Dragonflies have a certain charm. Didn't expect that snapping at the end, but a dragonfly must eat. :) Good luck in the contest.

bye-bye! I'd love to know how your mind landed on this, fascinating and certainly a picture painter in my mind's eye. All the best ... CayCay (long tongued creatures of reality and fiction in sci-fi and horror, really gross me out, but then so did the Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz - now you know I'm weird!)

Thank you, CayCay, I didn't read the instructions well on the last one and i gave it a title.. maybe this one will do better..
