Outskirts of the Village
I never once echoed or spread out your doubt beyond the ears
I never once discouraged you throughout the years
I never once left you with eyes of sorrowful tears
I’m afflicted with this misery…and my many fears
The garden of glory grows graciously on and on and on
Till the dusk or the dawn…I am but a terrified, timid fawn…
My vines are Yours to keep and I sprouted again
Weeping insane, He told me weep no more in vain…then…
He is my tourniquet of tranquility
To wipe away my tears’ trail of misery
He is the one and only I look up to and worship, even though I mess up numerously
Infinity X infinity
Is my love and mercy towards all
Joy remains in me
Every time God lets me stand tall
You healed me in this village of vitality and vivacious vulnerability
The outskirts of it all is what I’m embracing — a Holy Spirit of liberty
Silence is better than chaos
Let my sins be healed and gracious
Precious you…
It’s what you do
That made me feel crowded with happiness inside
You stroke me with a hint of hidden pride
Suddenly, you hit me with hatred
Traded my love with dread
Instead, I gather the bread
The wine has been drunk
And my friendship has sunk
You’re acting like a punk
You gathered my enemies to try to kill me physically
You didn’t even bother saving me from my demise truly
I didn’t mean to scar you to death
I just made my last breath, breath
Commit in me no sin, oh Jesus of joy
Oh, Lord of accord, how can I be a hopeful boy?
I need His faith and guidance throughout
I need a route to drown out the darksome doubt
I am suffering and you cannot see
You cannot see
Remember me
Remember me in the sea in which I swam in for years
Encouragement is your strength while I’m lacking everything it seems and I’m in tears
It’s not good enough —
Tough love to this lifetime of lazy lament from down below
It’s not good enough —
But, I roam this village’s outskirts and I seek His inner glow
Heavenly Christ won’t let me down
If only He’d lift me up from this frown
I sin endlessly and I pray indubitably so
I am akin to Your calling…even though You chose the weak and foolish of this Earth and its woe
Agape love is what I crave the most
Spiritually and speedily accepting me
It’s hard to change, but change I must
I’m only dust in this Earth of mirth and confusion
Bewildered in the wilderness of wretchedness and wistfulness
Then, I end up in the outskirts of the village in the velvety skies…beneath the valley of jolly
Free me with glee and free me from sorrow to a certain degree
Spontaneous spirit of mine,
C-combined with your compassionate divine shine,
Makes me feel n-no where near catastrophe and commotion
You care endearingly and wholeheartedly about my empathetic emotion
Unbeatable and unbearable is my feelings I’m dealing with as a whole
In a while, I’m underestimated by everyone around me but I’m caught off guard by the fact that I’m totally wrong and should feel loved and isn’t it wonderful
That you and I ran the extra mile just to smile in this village of a vivid vessel of harnessing hopes?
It’s never impossible for Him to set me free
From this bondage from deep within — perhaps, You’ll have mercy on me, maybe?
Maybe, someday, I will delightfully dismiss the dismay unconditionally
I’m the one that lost Your trust and I’m apologetic from my sins of plenty
Unchangeable is God’s way of life and our ways are fickle without a trace
Unburdensome and cumbersome is the way of the world of disgrace
Eternally near the afterlife
I’m sorry for causing so much strife
Fatality, in reality, is crippling me inside
I’m sorry for everything I did to harm you with this…pride that was once abiding by my side
I follow God Most High
I cannot sincerely deny
He transforms the turbulence in my heartstrings
He took away my tribulations and He inspires me to sing without wings…so timely that this wound of mine stings with good cheer that it always brings
It brings out the childlike boy in me
Freedom of the cherishable Kingdom
Is far more adequate and awe-inspiring honestly
Compared to my numb, dumb cranium
The serenity and the sacrifice of Christ is forevermore
His Law of love is what I adore all the more to the core
Do it, not just listen to His scriptures in the Holy Bible as my mindset of regrets get rescued from being torn by the seams
As I glisten in the sunlit side of the village in the outskirts of cures that endures the soul of lullaby-like dreams
Consume the unleavened bread with me
Drink the wine with me and you’ll see
That you’ll genuinely get my drift
Of how the Passover gives me a lift
Blemish me with benevolent bliss
Brace my soul with bravery
Tourniquet of tranquility will heal me from my illness
Embrace me with serenity
Cheers to a year of lovely…glory from His spirit of light
I want to overcome the burdens of my sin and shine bright
Forgive me my transgressions
Let live me with patient directions
Your affectionate, yet marvelous words of love
Set me at ease, oh so please let me muse of
Your excellency on Earth
You give me a reason to feel mirth
Merry faithfulness is what I felt
When you hung me dry like a worn-out belt
I felt Your forgiveness long ago
It melt my cold heart of stone, all alone though
Without You, I’d be nothing but empty space
Without You, I’d be nothing but a total disgrace
In this village of torment and torture
Doesn’t provide a cure to endure
The whirling waves of dire desolation
Why do I still feel lost in vexation?
Fellowship with me the people of this shimmering village of cheers
Dip your feet and reach out with your hands to a glimmering, guiltless life of adoration
RIP the friendship that sunk down below the surface of my tears
They drip on the floors of fretfulness forevermore, but our empathetic encouragement reaches ear to ear, despite our frightful, outlandish fears
Believe
Relieve
The aches and pains of life I pray
Echo
Glow
As the sun during the day of dismay
Ask and you will surely receive
Grieve no more and don’t leave
I won’t weave you a worry anymore as a whole
I will help you out to hope away your kind, forlorn soul
I’m not of the dark and iniquity-stained side of the village
I’m in it, yet I’m seeking first a beloved, breathtaking bridge
To set all of me free, so true
Wish and pray you could too…
Blinded by tears,
Yet God calls me to know His truth for so many years
To uplift and motivate anew…
I echoed your faithful hopes so true, who knew…
