Outsiders path
It no longer beckons as it did before,
Now it waits, just beyond the door,
Whispering softly, tempting the heart,
To accept again and play the part.
To embrace the pain, forget the cost,
Of suffering caused and what was lost.
The pull felt to give in once more,
Selfish desires shake it to it's very core.
Indifference tries to close it's heart,
But it must act, It can't depart.
Laziness will not be a guide,
It must find strength and push aside.
Discipline calls, and it must trust,
An outcast owes itself that much.
